Duluth Central High School Closes
The last day of school for DCHS was Thursday, June 9, 2011.
The final class graduated at the DECC on Tuesday, June 7, 2011.
Opened in 1891.
Closed in 2011.
120 years.
Thousands of kids.
Millions of memories.
Remember the "D" on the jacket...the first Duluth high school.
20 Year Reunion
July 24-25, 2009
Our 20 year in just a memory now. Hopefully, everyone that attended had a great time.
Friday night at the Incline Station was a great time to chat and we had about 100 classmates there. After that, the Copasetic Bar on Central Entrance loved us and the 80s DJ was fun (he said that we were the largest crowd ever in three years...).
Saturday afternoon saw a good showing at the picnic at the Heights Community Club. Kids were running around everywhere and having a grand time.
Saturday evening at the Sports Garden was great. The back deck overlooking the harbor was nice and the pizza buffet was tastey. We had about 50 classmates attend (plus numerous spouses/significant others- thanks for joining us!).
